With a combined 35 years in the industry, we bring a wealth of experience to the world of hospitality and events. At Table One Collective, our two leaders offer a unique perspective, drawing from their diverse backgrounds to make informed decisions for their clients.
Our first founder, Ciarán (aka our Irish lucky charm) started his journey at the family pub at just 12 years old. After embarking on a spontaneous journey to Australia in 2009, Ciarán discovered his new haven in Melbourne. There, he dedicated years to refining his expertise within the city's premier hospitality groups, becoming a master at overseeing operations and smoothly managing bustling venues. This experience naturally led him to excel in event planning and coordination, with a knack for anticipating and solving issues before they arise.
Taking a different approach is Alex, who truly enjoys seeing that pipeline flourish. Alex initially entered the scene as a chef, catering to various functions and events. Although she cherished the fast pace, she encountered enough hot days in the kitchen and decided to shift gears into sales and coordination for esteemed hospitality venues, nationwide festivals, and catering companies. This shift was particularly emphasized post-Covid, focusing on a blend of remote and onsite operations.
This along with the launch of a side hustle; a wedding planning and styling company, Confetti Society, in 2024, Alex's expertise caught the attention of industry peers seeking her assistance. Project after project, Ciarán's support and expertise were counted on too, which further solidified the idea that they were onto something special.
What Table One Collective aims for above all is to provide what they yearned for and found essential in their past roles.
